Description

  • Build and maintain strategic executive-level relationships across assigned government agencies and departments.
  • Identify growth opportunities by providing solutions across D&B data and services.
  • Lead quarterly account planning activities with the team leader and sales support members.
  • Retain and grow revenue through renewal management, win-back, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Track, forecast, and report progress against monthly targets accurately and on time.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate CRM data in Salesforce to support territory, account planning, and forecasting.
  • Identify new contacts, deepen existing relationships, and generate new business from new client identification.
  • Leverage knowledge of agency missions to build trust and create opportunities with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of prior experience in government and/or enterprise-level SaaS, consulting, or services sales.
  • Proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, managing relationships, and exceeding annual quotas.
  • Experience managing complex government sales and multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess client environments from business process, organizational, and technological perspectives and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written business communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with sales methodology, Salesforce.com, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ownership mindset, curiosity, proactive collaboration, and continuous learning orientation.
  • Willingness to travel beyond city limits for business.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluating complex techniques.
  • Physical ability to sit, speak, and operate telephone and/or computer for long periods; ability to work day, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed; ability to travel by any form of transportation.

  • Salary range of $123,100 to $206,800 per year.
