Description

  • Define the source-of-truth strategy for enterprise knowledge, including authoritative systems, indexing approach, eligibility for AI use, and archival or exclusion rules.
  • Define enterprise standards that make content AI-ready across structure, metadata, provenance, and access.
  • Decide where semantic models or knowledge graphs are appropriate and translate standards into authoring patterns used across domains.
  • Design the control model for AI actions, including eligibility rules, preconditions, approvals, escalation paths, and rollback requirements.
  • Lead platform and connector strategy across the content stack, including refactoring, migration, indexing, consolidation, and access to tools and sources.
  • Build a federated operating model for enterprise content with shared standards, domain stewardship, and lifecycle policies.
  • Define content quality for AI use by standing up retrieval and grounding evaluations for priority use cases.
  • Extend measurement to workflow traces and policy conformance as AI systems begin to act.
  • Partner with IT, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Security on content eligibility, sensitivity classification, and permissions modeling.
  • Route evaluation findings back into the content lifecycle and update standards as AI capabilities change.

Requirements

  • 7+ years designing how information is structured, owned, and maintained at enterprise scale.
  • At least 2 years applying that work to AI retrieval and grounding.
  • Direct experience preparing content for AI consumption.
  • Working fluency in retrieval-augmented generation, grounding, semantic chunking, embeddings, vector search, and citations.
  • Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or semantic models.
  • Track record building federated operating models across functions outside direct reporting lines.
  • Evidence of metadata standards or authoring frameworks adopted at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Legal, Security, and business functions.
  • Sound judgment on balancing central standards with domain expertise.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Atlassian, Microsoft 365 or Copilot Search, Slack, or Notion (preferred).
  • Familiarity with structured authoring such as DITA, controlled vocabularies, or KCS (preferred).
  • Experience with AI evaluation tooling for retrieval quality, groundedness, and answer relevance (preferred).
  • Background working in regulated, policy-heavy, or high-risk content domains (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of NIST AI RMF, OWASP GenAI guidance, or comparable risk frameworks (preferred).

Benefits

  • Canada pay range: $129,200–$174,800 CAD.
