Description

  • Map business workflows and identify, prioritize, and recommend high-impact automation opportunities.
  • Design and implement end-to-end AI-powered workflows using automation platforms, APIs, webhooks, scripts, and lightweight development.
  • Improve CRM and relationship-management systems, including contact enrichment, stale-record detection, lead scoring, and introduction tracking.
  • Build internal tools, dashboards, search systems, and knowledge applications where existing platforms are insufficient.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into technical solutions, prototype quickly, test carefully, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve automations as tools, processes, and business needs change.
  • Implement safeguards, human-review steps, documentation, and operating procedures for reliable and responsible AI use.
  • Train nontechnical stakeholders, explain solutions clearly, gather user feedback, and drive adoption.
  • Establish a repeatable process and roadmap for proposing, building, testing, documenting, and maintaining automations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in automation, AI implementation, operations, product, business systems, software development, or a related field, or equivalent practical portfolio experience.
  • Experience building working automations that solve real business problems.
  • Strong practical understanding and everyday use of generative AI and large language models.
  • Ability to connect applications through APIs, webhooks, native integrations, or automation platforms.
  • Comfort with no-code and low-code platforms and lightweight scripting or development.
  • Strong process-mapping, problem-solving, testing, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to understand business needs before selecting technical solutions and manage projects independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with ambiguous requirements.
  • Experience with tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, Retool, Notion, HubSpot, OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • CRM, relationship intelligence, lead enrichment, internal tools, databases, JavaScript, Python, SQL, data privacy, security, or responsible AI experience is preferred.
  • A portfolio or case study demonstrating AI-powered workflows is preferred.
