Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer journey phases and key business metrics.
  • Perform analytical deep-dives to diagnose problems and opportunities, form hypotheses, and design and execute experiments.
  • Use exploratory analysis to understand user engagement behavior and inform experimentation roadmaps.
  • Create personalized segmentation strategies using propensity models to target offers and experiences based on user attributes.
  • Identify key trends and build automated reporting and executive-facing dashboards for acquisition, monetization, and engagement metrics.
  • Extract actionable insights from large, complex, multi-dimensional customer behavior datasets.
  • Monitor and analyze a high volume of experiments to optimize product experience and revenue, and promote multivariate experimentation best practices.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear business implications through strong verbal and written communication.
  • Prioritize work effectively and focus on the highest-impact questions.
  • Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, and senior executives to execute and iterate quickly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience using analytics to drive key business decisions, such as business, product, or marketing analytics, business intelligence, or strategy consulting.
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively engage business stakeholders with minimal direction.
  • Significant experience with SQL and large unstructured datasets such as Hadoop.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and analytical techniques such as regression and decision trees.
  • Solid background in running multivariate experiments to optimize product or revenue flow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting and knowledge of statistical packages such as R or Python.
  • Product analytics experience in a SaaS company is preferred.
  • Master’s degree or above in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $132,600-$179,400 USD in US Zone 3.
  • Competitive salary range of $149,200-$201,800 USD in US Zone 2.
  • US Zone 1 is not available for this role.
