Description

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new public safety customers within the assigned territory.
  • Generate pipeline in collaboration with Solutions Engineering and Marketing.
  • Manage multiple concurrent, high-velocity sales cycles with consistency and structure.
  • Conduct structured discovery to understand agency operations, challenges, and mission priorities.
  • Apply MEDDIC fundamentals to qualify deals and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to deliver demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline hygiene, and forecast discipline.
  • Represent DroneSense at regional events and agency meetings.
  • Travel regionally (typically 25–50% cyclically) to engage agencies and attend evaluations/events.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of sales experience in SaaS, GovTech, or public sector environments.
  • Proven ability to manage and close high-velocity sales cycles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfort engaging a range of public safety stakeholders and understanding agency workflows and operational needs.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC sales methodology and deal qualification.
  • Experience maintaining CRM records and disciplined pipeline/forecast management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally between 25% and 50% on a cyclical basis.
  • Employment eligibility: full-time U.S. citizens or naturalized citizens from a NATO country who are current residents of one of the 50 contiguous United States (no offshore/nearshore contractors).
