Description

  • Own the design and integration of physical security platforms, including access control, video management, APIs, and data connectors.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end security services spanning physical security, hardware provisioning, site readiness, cloud and network infrastructure, identity, key management, and observability.
  • Partner with software, infrastructure, networking, cloud, physical security, and third-party teams from architecture through production support.
  • Own the AWS footprint, identity boundaries, and network architecture for the security stack.
  • Plan and execute complex, ambiguous initiatives by defining dependencies, critical paths, owners, milestones, and decisions.
  • Identify delivery risks, maintain risk registers, remove blockers, and escalate issues with recommendations and tradeoffs.
  • Provide concise status updates and manage expectations across senior leadership and partner teams.
  • Drive technical decisions, tooling evaluations, architecture reviews, and documentation of outcomes.
  • Contribute to strategy and success metrics while mentoring engineers and program managers across partner teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in security or infrastructure engineering, including 4+ years leading multi-team technical programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent related experience.
  • Expertise with cloud services and infrastructure, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise access control and video platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, or Milestone, including APIs and integrations.
  • Experience with project planning, JIRA, technical design reviews, security controls, estimation, and scheduling.
  • Deep expertise in at least three security domains, such as IAM, physical security, security operations, detection and response, DevSecOps, security architecture, or network security.
  • Experience delivering global-scale software or cloud rollouts involving vendor platforms, integrations, and migrations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influence without authority.
  • Experience with physical-world constraints including sites, hardware, permits, installers, and infrastructure lifecycles.
  • Preferred: SQL analysis, Python, automation tooling, agentic workflows, or experience establishing security program practices.
