Description

  • Manage, monitor, maintain, patch, and securely configure Proxmox hypervisors across distributed sites.
  • Perform controlled Proxmox upgrades and version updates according to internal standards and testing procedures.
  • Administer Windows Server and Linux virtual machines across the Proxmox environment.
  • Use NinjaOne RMM for remote administration, monitoring, patching, and configuration management.
  • Monitor backup and disaster recovery platforms, investigate failures, and conduct documented test restores.
  • Manage Linux-based CCTV servers and the NX Witness VMS environment, including updates and health monitoring.
  • Administer SentinelOne Complete across in-scope systems and investigate security alerts or suspicious activity.
  • Provide service desk support for resident-facing Wi-Fi, IPTV, and other in-scope technology requests.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for standards, patch schedules, known issues, and remediation procedures.
  • Proactively identify and remediate performance, capacity, configuration, and security issues across infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a comparable infrastructure role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms; Proxmox is highly preferred.
  • Solid administration experience with Windows Server and Linux, including patching and security hardening.
  • Experience with RMM platforms such as NinjaOne or equivalent.
  • Experience monitoring backup platforms and performing documented test restores.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware, storage, and firmware lifecycle management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Strong written English and the ability to communicate clearly with Australian-based stakeholders.
  • Experience with CCTV or VMS platforms, particularly NX Witness, is desirable.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, or similar are desirable.
