Description

  • Perform user account setup, password resets, and access-permission management.
  • Monitor system functionality and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Deploy updates, patches, and antivirus solutions in accordance with DoD STIG and IAVM directives.
  • Support DoD cybersecurity compliance activities and procedures.
  • Create and maintain configuration records, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Execute backup and restoration procedures to support system continuity.
  • Provide operational support for HBSS, ACAS, SIEM, and other cybersecurity tools.
  • Manage Linux-based sensors and hardware, including iDRAC, sensor management platforms, and BluVector.
  • Respond to technical support requests and collaborate with the help desk to resolve end-user issues.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Current DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
  • Knowledge of operating-system administration, technical troubleshooting, user permissions, and file structures.
  • Proficiency with Linux operating systems and basic scripting in Bash, Python, or another scripting language.
  • Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption, and Zero Trust concepts.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, automation, Ansible, test integration, and scalable deployment architectures.
  • Experience with DISA STIGs, RMF, NIST 800-53, and other DoD compliance frameworks.
  • Experience across on-premises, virtualization, and containerization environments.
  • Cyber analysis experience, DoD or DISA cyber program experience, large-scale sensor platform experience, and a related bachelor’s degree are preferred.
