Description

  • Administer and support Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Cloud.
  • Create and configure Jira projects and Jira Service Management service desks.
  • Manage user access, permissions, administrator roles, and service-account access.
  • Configure request types, forms, fields, workflows, approvals, queues, and notifications.
  • Troubleshoot ticket submission, access, permissions, routing, and multi-user incidents.
  • Support Okta integrations, including SSO, MFA, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
  • Test changes in the Jira sandbox before deploying them to production.
  • Configure Jira-to-Slack notifications and support other Atlassian integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate access approvals, routing, badging requests, and notifications.
  • Investigate support tickets, clarify requirements, document resolutions, and provide production support and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of hands-on Atlassian administration experience, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence configuration, permissions, and workflows.
  • Ability to troubleshoot access, permissions, and ticket-routing issues under time pressure.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation using Python, YAML, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack.
  • Clear communication, strong documentation skills, and ability to manage concurrent requests.
  • Ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams across time zones.
  • Interest in applying and delivering AI solutions for business workflows.
  • Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools preferred.
  • Experience with distributed support, IT service management frameworks, Freshservice, Atlassian REST APIs, or service accounts preferred.
