Description

  • Provide advanced support across on-premises and hybrid customer infrastructure environments.
  • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and file/print services.
  • Provision, monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and tune VMware, Hyper-V, Linux, and other server environments.
  • Support switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
  • Administer backup, recovery, SAN/NAS, and disaster recovery platforms; investigate backup failures and test recoverability.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure, and hybrid identity integrations.
  • Resolve complex infrastructure incidents, participate in major incident response, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Apply security hardening, vulnerability remediation, least-privilege access, and compliance controls.
  • Operate within ITIL-aligned incident, request, change, MSA, and SLA processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of infrastructure engineering or advanced service desk experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure and supporting multiple customer environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation.
  • Experience with backup platforms such as Veeam, Rubrik, Cove, or Commvault.
  • Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and routing.
  • Microsoft 365 administration experience across Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Basic Azure and hybrid Microsoft environment experience.
  • PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; Microsoft/vendor certifications and ITIL Foundation are preferred.
