Description

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to embed quality across design, development, deployment, monitoring, and incident reviews.
  • Develop and apply quality strategies across the testing pyramid, emphasizing reliable lower-level testing.
  • Improve CI/CD workflows, test data setup, test isolation, execution reliability, and actionable failure feedback.
  • Support functional testing throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to timely roadmap delivery.
  • Leverage agentic testing capabilities and AI test harnesses across quality engineering activities.
  • Track quality and DORA metrics, including coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness, flakiness, regression rates, and execution health.
  • Champion tools and practices that reduce flaky tests and improve developer confidence and feedback loops.
  • Share testing methodologies, mentor colleagues, and promote consistent quality practices across distributed teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within modern SaaS or cloud-native platform organizations, preferably with AWS.
  • Experience scaling automated testing infrastructure and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Workflows.
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, API contract, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Cypress, Pact, and K6.
  • Front-end development and testing fluency with HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices for improving test signals and pipeline feedback.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed, multi-region teams.
  • Experience with QA tools such as Zephyr Scale and GitHub-based CI/CD systems.
  • Pragmatic systems-thinking approach, growth mindset, and willingness to mentor others.
  • Interest in AI-powered testing tools such as Copilot, Devin, or Claude (preferred).
