Description

  • Design and optimize AWS environments for data science and machine learning workloads.
  • Own IAM architecture, security, compliance, and least-privilege access controls.
  • Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical analytics platforms.
  • Optimize cloud costs and manage platform networking components such as API gateways, CDNs, ALBs, TLS, and WAFs.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, and monitoring/logging systems.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows.
  • Provide self-service tools for reproducible research and development environments.
  • Support secure handling of sensitive financial data in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with data science and ML teams to unblock workflows and advise on AWS architecture, performance, and production readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and Everything-as-a-Service practices while reducing operational toil.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering building scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong AWS experience with core services including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
  • Deep knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies including IAM, OIDC, OAuth2, RBAC, ABAC, PAM, JIT, and PKI.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, and ECS.
  • Experience supporting data-intensive or machine learning workloads.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries, preferred.
  • Understanding of networking, VPC architecture, and cloud security best practices, preferred.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, Ray, or Dask, preferred.
  • Experience with AI/LLMOps tools such as observability, evaluation pipelines, or agentic workflows, preferred.
  • Familiarity with ML/AI platform tools such as SageMaker, MLflow, or Airflow, preferred.
