Description

  • Engage with multiple SMB customers to strengthen their partnership with Deputy.
  • Own relationships with key decision makers and lead expansion and upsell conversations.
  • Use data and collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify account trends and growth opportunities.
  • Drive higher product adoption for customers who are underutilizing the Deputy solution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of each customer’s business needs and strategic priorities.
  • Build and manage a sales funnel of expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with legal, sales, and marketing on commercial aspects of customer relationships as needed.
  • Proactively identify and escalate customer risks, issues, and threats.
  • Stay informed on workforce management and time and attendance industry trends.
  • Provide feedback to leadership and contribute to process improvements and optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS account management experience, including managing revenue and upselling.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven record of top performance and integrity.
  • Ability to understand client objectives and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong telephone presence and web presentation skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
  • Willingness and ability to meet key accounts face to face when it adds value.
  • Experience in the workforce management space (bonus point).
  • Experience or expertise in payroll (bonus point).
