Description

  • Assess automation needs with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
  • Lead projects and help improve processes to drive efficiency.
  • Lead data quality assurance by validating datasets and checking for discrepancies.
  • Manage the creation, implementation, validation, and support of reporting and visualization tools.
  • Develop and maintain automated data ingestion, validation, and operational workflows.
  • Unify multiple data sources and build reporting and analytical tools.
  • Use SQL to consolidate dimensions and metrics across tables for reporting.
  • Link SQL views to visualization tools and customize reports to customer needs.
  • Use Python to automate pipelines and transform data.
  • Develop best practices and documentation for onboarding and usability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Sheets, and Looker/Data Studio.
  • Advanced experience developing custom SQL and troubleshooting complex SQL scripts.
  • Advanced understanding of complex data ecosystems, including data lineage and transformation logic.
  • Experience working with digital marketing data.
  • Fluency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Google Apps Script.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure, or similar data tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of data transfer tools such as SSIS or Matillion and secure storage such as sFTP or S3.
  • Experience with GCP or similar platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skills with a desire to innovate.
