Description

  • Improve the high availability of Dockerized microservices to support platform stability.
  • Launch and manage services in Kubernetes to scale global operations.
  • Develop and operate infrastructure using Terraform, GitOps, and immutable practices.
  • Deploy releases to production and staging while managing the full deployment lifecycle.
  • Improve the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Build and maintain monitoring for logging, performance, uptime, and tracing.
  • Optimize database performance and manage backups, restorations, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling, development support, and post-incident recovery.
  • Contribute to IT security best practices and support the design of new features.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to resolve incidents and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and launching services in Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, and version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with cloud environments, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with databases, including strong knowledge of NoSQL; MongoDB is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or ArgoCD.
  • Monitoring experience with tools like New Relic, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Knowledge of Python development and API standards such as REST, JSON-RPC, and SOAP/XML.
  • Familiarity with API clients like Postman or Insomnia and Linux shells including Bash.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
  • Background check may be required as a condition of employment.
