Description

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with KOLs, clinical investigators, healthcare providers, policy influencers, and other stakeholders in psychiatry.
  • Serve as the primary field-based medical resource by delivering balanced scientific information and facilitating high-quality scientific exchange.
  • Support scientific education at national and regional psychiatry conferences, advisory boards, and educational events.
  • Gather field insights and communicate them to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Provide clinical and scientific input to cross-functional teams including R&D, Clinical Development, and Commercial.
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and report on the competitive landscape.
  • Support clinical trial site identification, enrollment initiatives, investigator-initiated trials, and Phase IV activities as needed.
  • Serve as a scientific and clinical point person for Government Affairs and HEOR in policy discussions, public comment submissions, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Develop training programs, field materials, medical decks, and CRM-related engagement resources to strengthen the Field Medical Function.

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of MSL or related medical affairs experience.
  • Psychiatry or CNS experience required.
  • Experience supporting pre-launch through launch-stage companies with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience engaging with policy, government affairs, or advocacy stakeholders in healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of psychiatric disease states, treatment paradigms, and the U.S. healthcare landscape.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex scientific data clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, insight tools, and compliant field operations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% as needed.
