Description

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through close across an assigned territory.
  • Own relationships with prospects and customers across a variety of industries.
  • Engage enterprise customers in conversations about data, analytics, and advanced technology initiatives.
  • Develop a consultative sales approach that aligns Dataiku’s platform with customer needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and sales engineering.
  • Showcase the business value of Dataiku’s platform to enterprise stakeholders.
  • Build alignment across different groups and cultivate internal and external champions.
  • Present and articulate competitive positioning in customer conversations.
  • Travel to customer and prospect meetings as needed, up to 30% to 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software field sales.
  • Strong belief in a customer-centric selling philosophy and a consultative approach.
  • Experience selling innovation and new concepts to large enterprise customers.
  • Ability to develop a vision match with prospects and customers and build alignment across groups.
  • Strong articulation of competitive positioning.
  • Willingness to travel 30% to 50%.
  • Experience in data-related areas such as big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, or data integration is desired.
  • Early startup experience is a plus.
  • Base compensation for US roles is $145,000 to $150,000 USD, with eligibility for commission or other variable compensation.
  • Compensation is determined during the interview process based on location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience, and training.
