Description

  • Prospect into Federal Government organizations while running an efficient sales process.
  • Maintain, build, and own relationship maps for the territory, including existing relationships and target contacts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and value drivers.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with Federal enterprises by selling value and ROI.
  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when solving complex customer challenges.
  • Identify the key steps needed to close business and secure customer validation.
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency.
  • Build pipeline independently and win new logo opportunities in Federal Government accounts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of closing experience, including a mix of field selling in mid-market or enterprise.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $800K+ and average deal sizes of $50K+.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently using a defined methodology.
  • Experience working for an innovative technology company, such as SaaS or IT infrastructure, preferred.
  • Experience selling into Federal Government organizations and winning new logos.
  • Regular travel to client sites within your area and other regions as business needs require.
  • Strong passion for technology and interest in growing your skills.
  • Experience in sales training methodologies such as MEDDIC and Command of the Message, preferred.
