Description

  • Build relationships with CIOs, IT executives, line-of-business executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive value-based growth within the account.
  • Expand Databricks’ footprint into new business units and use cases.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create customer value.
  • Promote Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform powered by Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
  • Prioritize opportunities and leverage appropriate internal resources.
  • Build and execute a success plan internally at Databricks and externally with the account.

Requirements

  • Remote location in Virginia is highly preferred.
  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a track record of exceeding quotas in larger accounts.
  • Previous field sales experience in big data, cloud, SaaS, and a consumption-based selling motion.
  • Experience working successfully in an early-stage company with limited oversight.
  • Prior customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other key decision makers at local accounts.
  • Ability to simplify technical capabilities into value-based business benefits.
  • Experience managing a small set of enterprise accounts rather than a broad territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience leading go-to-market campaigns in Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Familiarity with big data, advanced analytics, and AI is preferred.
