Description

  • Identify, acquire, and grow new business opportunities across components of DOW R&E and OUSD.
  • Secure new enterprise accounts and build long-term customer partnerships.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to win high-potential opportunities in untapped markets.
  • Identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Plan, document, and drive Databricks usage growth in newly won accounts.
  • Build C-level and technical relationships across engineering, platform, architecture, and data science stakeholders.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create value for customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business and buying centers.
  • Provide leadership to customers, key staff, and technical teams.
  • Orchestrate Databricks internal teams and ecosystem partners to support sales motions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience selling complex software deals to recognizable organizations in the DOD/DOW space, preferably within R&E/OUSD.
  • Knowledge of segment priorities, buying processes, buying cycles, decision-making processes, and the broader ecosystem.
  • Background in selling usage-based PaaS/SaaS solutions or other Data/AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience with sales methodologies and processes such as account planning, MEDDPICC, value selling, and Command of the Message.
  • Experience hunting in greenfield environments while also consulting with existing accounts to expand usage.
  • Ability to build customer champions and collaborative teams to support expansion plans.
  • Understanding of how to develop and manage a clear partner strategy.
  • Preferred experience selling within the region's recognizable organizations in the DOD/DOW space.

Benefits

  • Zone 2 base pay range of $272,000 to $374,000 USD.
