Description

  • Design and implement production-level ML and AI workloads, including end-to-end pipelines and training/inference optimization.
  • Manage MLOps lifecycle activities and integrate solutions with cloud-native services.
  • Advise enterprise and strategic customers on architecting production-grade ML and AI applications on Databricks.
  • Act as a practitioner and technical expert for enterprise GenAI solutions, including RAG, agentic systems, AI observability, and natural language querying.
  • Support Solution Architects during the technical sales cycle by building MVPs and leading deep-dive sessions.
  • Align AI solutions to complex customer business challenges.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to represent customer needs and influence the AI roadmap.
  • Create technical tutorials and training materials to drive community growth and platform adoption.
  • Present at industry conferences and lead hackathons.
  • Mentor colleagues and help establish internal AI thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on industry experience in data science or machine learning.
  • Experience in ML engineering building and maintaining production-grade cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in data science or AI using LLMs, agentic systems, vector databases, fine-tuning, and tools such as Hugging Face or LangChain.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed Spark-based systems.
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing pre-sales or post-sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with Apache Spark to process large-scale distributed datasets preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and teach complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to meet technical training and role-specific outcomes within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
