Description

  • Build and maintain successful relationships with clients across an assigned territory.
  • Partner with an Account Executive and Senior Solutions Architect to deliver technical and business value.
  • Lead hands-on evaluations and Spark programming demonstrations to build customer excitement.
  • Integrate Databricks solutions with the broader cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
  • Contribute to the Databricks technical community through workshops, seminars, and meetups.
  • Advise customers on big data analytics architecture and design.
  • Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications to support customers.
  • Develop technical and pre-sales capabilities with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.

Requirements

  • Experience working with clients, creating narratives, answering customer questions, aligning agendas, and driving outcomes.
  • Ability to independently deliver a technical proposition and identify customer pain points.
  • Ability to explain business value and build trusted advisor relationships.
  • Proficiency coding in a core programming language such as Python.
  • Knowledge of a core Big Data Analytics domain.
  • Exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept.
  • Understanding of a major public cloud platform.
  • Experience in solution architecture and data engineering.
  • Ability to grow technically and in pre-sales toward an independently operating Solutions Architect role.
