Description

  • Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks across multiple oil, gas, and energy clients.
  • Define and direct the technical strategy for key enterprise accounts in close partnership with the Enterprise Account Executive.
  • Lead customers through evaluation and adoption of Databricks as part of their transformation strategy.
  • Implement account-level technical strategy aligned to broader sales and business goals.
  • Build and nurture technical champions within customer organizations.
  • Align technical approaches around Databricks solutions and use cases.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and technical peers to drive business outcomes for clients.
  • Support hands-on resources, proofs of concept, and product demonstrations for customers.

Requirements

  • Experience helping large oil, gas, and energy enterprises become more data-driven.
  • Experience with oil, gas, and energy customers preferred.
  • Proficiency in establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within an account.
  • Experience working with very large global accounts, especially those with more than $1M ARR.
  • Ability to form relationships with executives and influencers.
  • Ability to present a convincing point of view to decision-makers.
  • Technical background in big data, data science, and cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data.
  • Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure certification is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $152,300 to $209,450 USD for Zone 3.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus.
  • Eligibility for equity as part of the total compensation package.
