Description

  • Hire, coach, and develop a team of deeply technical Solutions Architects.
  • Adapt the Solutions Architect team’s skills and engagement model to the needs of digital native customers.
  • Guide the team in technically qualifying workloads, identifying use cases, building proofs of concept, and becoming trusted advisors throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Establish best practices across the full lifecycle of customer workloads.
  • Represent Databricks as a technical leader with key customers and support executive sessions and technical workshops.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, services, product, and engineering teams to drive customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal organizations to support customer and team success.
  • Travel to customer sites for executive sessions, workshops, and relationship building.
  • Stay current on emerging data and AI trends in the digital native technology sector.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product such as data warehousing, big data, cloud infrastructure, or machine learning.
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading technical, customer-facing teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience with hiring, onboarding, and supporting team members.
  • A history of building territory, growing strategic accounts, and exceeding targets.
  • Experience managing workloads and consumption in partnership with sales, product, and engineering counterparts.
  • Experience owning executive alignment in accounts that influence strategic decisions.
  • Ability to inspire a team vision around the unique nature of the digital natives business.
  • Strong communication skills to explain and demonstrate complex solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Local pay range of $192,100 to $264,175 USD.
