Description

  • Lead and scale the EMEA AI professional services team through hiring, mentoring, and team structure development.
  • Manage a portfolio of key EMEA accounts and own OKRs for AI-services-led accounts, revenue, utilization, and public references.
  • Build and expand executive relationships with enterprise customers and partners, including VP-, CIO-, and CDO-level stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during complex technical engagements, escalations, and AI transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with Field Engineering and Sales leaders to define joint strategies for strategic accounts and coordinate delivery.
  • Lead strategic AI professional services initiatives, practice development, and standardized delivery processes.
  • Design scalable engagement models and reusable solutions that improve repeatability across the global team.
  • Influence Product, R&D, and GTM teams with customer and delivery insights to inform roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent Databricks as a thought leader in AI and machine learning.
  • Recruit and develop high-performing data scientists, machine learning engineers, and future leaders.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing, hiring, and building teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and leaders.
  • Track record of scaling organizations through scalable processes and leader development.
  • Ability to scope, guide, and sell technical engagements and manage escalations in enterprise environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in machine learning, GenAI, and data science.
  • Experience leading teams that build production ML solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven success working with senior executive stakeholders to define program goals and build trust.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and GTM teams.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: customer-facing consulting or professional services leadership experience.
  • Preferred: experience working with Databricks.
