Description

  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Partner with an Account Executive to co-develop territory plans and product-line strategies.
  • Create and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and customer-facing collateral to support product adoption.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and build credibility with client stakeholders.
  • Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues in the field.
  • Translate field feedback and customer insights into roadmap recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Work with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting partners to drive customer outcomes.
  • Support clients in adopting Lakebase within broader data, lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
  • Handle complex, customer-facing technical challenges in mission-critical environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
  • Experience shaping or influencing OLTP product roadmaps with market insight.
  • Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
  • Infrastructure, platform, and administration experience in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
  • 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and driving product adoption.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with major public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Broad experience in two or more areas such as data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering.
