Description

  • Lead post-sales technical implementation discussions with merchants and translate discovery findings into a clear implementation path.
  • Own the technical onboarding process from kickoff to go-live as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to identify product gaps and support long-term integration success.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, API inventories, and integration specifications.
  • Build reusable integration assets including templates, configuration guides, and onboarding playbooks.
  • Investigate and resolve complex post-onboarding technical issues with Engineering and Support through root cause analysis.
  • Own pre-launch QA, including sandbox testing and end-to-end validation of integration flows.
  • Identify and champion AI and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate technical findings and solutions clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Implementation Specialist, or Technical Consultant.
  • Proven experience independently leading clients or stakeholders through complex technical implementations or integrations from scoping through go-live.
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts, architecture, and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Hands-on experience with Mid-Market and Enterprise merchants and managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of web technologies and integrations, including RESTful API integration design and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of how JavaScript, HTML, and CSS interact in a production environment.
  • Experience with common integration patterns such as APIs, file-based integrations, event-driven systems, and webhooks.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to identify issues early and drive solutions end-to-end.
  • Proficiency with Postman or similar API testing and debugging tools is preferred.
  • Experience configuring or supporting back-office OMS/ERP systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify or BigCommerce and how they integrate with ERP, OMS, and third-party systems is preferred.
