Description

  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the territory.
  • Partner with an Account Executive to plan and implement account strategies for assigned customers.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, demos, and customer-facing assets that support product adoption decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and champion for the Lakebase product line.
  • Enable clients through workshops and create collateral that builds technical knowledge and thought leadership.
  • Influence product roadmap by translating field and customer insights into recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues in mission-critical customer environments.
  • Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) experience across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
  • Credibility influencing OLTP products and shaping roadmap priorities with market insight.
  • Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
  • 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and product adoption.
  • Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives in a cross-functional GTM and R&D environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Broad experience in two or more areas such as data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations is preferred.
