Description

  • Design and ship UI features for Lakeflow Connect that support connector setup, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Build reusable UI components and patterns that work consistently across Databricks surfaces.
  • Collaborate with backend, platform, product management, and design teams to deliver integrated user experiences.
  • Embed Connect experiences into Databricks surfaces such as Dashboards, Notebooks, SQL, and AI.
  • Contribute to full-stack implementation from API integration through polished UI delivery.
  • Instrument product usage to identify UX bottlenecks and improve the experience based on customer behavior.
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in design and code reviews.
  • Help improve frontend quality, accessibility, and performance across the team.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, including internships or significant academic projects.
  • Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, with a strong preference for React.
  • Passion for user experience and design.
  • Awareness of front-end architecture best practices, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
  • Comfort working toward a multi-year vision with incremental, high-quality deliverables.
  • Motivation to deliver customer value and think from the end user’s perspective.
  • Familiarity with server-side web technologies such as Java, Python, Scala, or Node.js is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or to distributed systems, is a plus.
