Description

  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the territory.
  • Partner with Account Executives to plan, coordinate, and deliver account strategies for assigned product-line targets.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders to support product adoption and vision.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Enable clients at scale by increasing their technical understanding of the product line.
  • Translate field feedback into data-driven recommendations for Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
  • Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues in mission-critical customer environments.
  • Work with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
  • Support client adoption of transactional database solutions across broader Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) experience across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
  • Credibility influencing OLTP products and providing market insight to shape roadmap priorities.
  • Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
  • 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and product adoption.
  • Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives in a cross-functional GTM and R&D environment.
  • Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organizations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Broad experience in two or more of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
