Description

Collaborate with account teams and GTM leadership to design and execute engagement strategies across assigned territories.
Partner with an Account Executive to co-plan and execute account strategies for the Lakebase product line.
Build technical credibility with stakeholders as a trusted advisor and product champion.
Develop and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and customer-facing collateral.
Enable clients at scale by increasing technical knowledge and thought leadership around the product line.
Translate field feedback into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues in mission-critical customer environments.
Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.

Requirements

10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
Proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
Credibility in influencing OLTP products and shaping roadmap priorities with market insight.
Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
Expertise in infrastructure, platform, and administration topics including disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations from vendor to vendor or on-prem to cloud.
6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and product adoption.
Experience co-planning large territories with Account Executives in a cross-functional GTM and R&D environment.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Broad experience in two or more of the following areas: data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar.
