Description

  • Work with clients on short- to medium-term professional services engagements focused on big data challenges.
  • Deliver data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects that integrate with client systems.
  • Train customers and perform other technical tasks that help them get the most value from their data.
  • Build reference architectures, how-to guides, and production-grade MVPs for customer projects.
  • Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications.
  • Consult on architecture and design and help bootstrap or implement strategic customer projects.
  • Support customer understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.
  • Work with Engineering and Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback.
  • Help resolve engagement-specific product and support issues quickly and effectively.
  • Complete billable projects according to specification while maintaining excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, cloud-native systems, and data lakes in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
  • 6+ years of experience working independently on big data architectures.
  • Strong experience in the Databricks ecosystem.
  • Ability to write code in Python or Scala.
  • Experience working across cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Strong documentation and whiteboarding skills.
  • Ability to build technical solutions that support deployment and integration of Databricks-based systems.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite customer engagements within India.
