Description

  • Create solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical approaches for RFPs and client proposals.
  • Analyze escalated projects and deliver concrete solution designs covering components, integrations, and sequences.
  • Decompose business problems into requirements, workflows, states, branches, and edge cases.
  • Select and defend appropriate platforms, data stores, and integration patterns.
  • Prototype risky or novel design elements to validate feasibility before delivery begins.
  • Design workflows, automations, and integrations for EVOCS’s internal operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, delivery teams, engineers, executives, and client stakeholders.
  • Own the technical defensibility of designs while working alongside Forward Deployed Engineers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, integration architecture, or senior engineering roles.
  • Experience designing enterprise workflows, integrations, APIs, and data flows across HR, finance, ITSM, or similar platforms.
  • Strong requirements analysis, business-process decomposition, and edge-case identification skills.
  • Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and relational, document, or event-log storage approaches.
  • Cloud fluency with Azure and/or AWS.
  • Knowledge of API gateways, middleware, event routing, and authentication patterns.
  • Ability to personally build prototypes or proofs of concept for proposed designs.
  • Experience using modern AI tooling for design, documentation, and data work.
  • Strong communication skills with both executive and engineering audiences.
  • Preferred: consulting or professional services experience, enterprise platform depth, pre-sales/RFP experience, event-driven architecture expertise, Azure/AWS certification, distributed-team experience, or working Spanish.

  • US salary range of $180,000–$220,000 USD.
  • Opportunity to work on client solutions and AI-native internal tooling.
  • Direct reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and collaboration with senior leadership and engineering teams.
