Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop an inclusive pre-sales team in Denmark, supporting performance and career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture aligned with customer focus, teamwork, and diversity of thought.
  • Partner with Sales to drive solution-based and value-based selling.
  • Help customers understand the business impact of the platform during strategic sales cycles.
  • Establish and iterate on best practices that improve team efficiency and focus on business outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives and strategic partners as a credible advisor on data, analytics, and AI.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Services to support a seamless customer experience and successful implementation.
  • Represent Databricks on the regional leadership team and help build the company’s brand in Nordic markets.
  • Coach team members to communicate complex ideas clearly and accessibly.
  • Support the team in building strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders across large organisations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing or leading technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, or similarly complex technology environments, or equivalent experience showing the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Track record of leading, mentoring, and scaling pre-sales, consulting, or technical field organisations.
  • Experience coaching teams and practicing inclusive leadership.
  • Understanding of consumption-based or subscription business models and how technical decisions affect commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and other cross-functional leaders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Danish is preferable.
  • Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, Data Science, or adjacent fields.
  • Consulting or customer-facing experience is an advantage.
  • Curiosity and passion for data, AI, and cloud technologies, with the ability to explain their business value clearly.
