Description

  • Present a territory plan within the first 90 days.
  • Meet with CIOs, IT executives, line-of-business executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Close new accounts and expand existing accounts.
  • Identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating customer value.
  • Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate appropriate internal resources.
  • Build and execute success plans internally at Databricks and externally with accounts.

Requirements

  • Native Portuguese speaker with strong English language skills.
  • Prior experience at an early-stage company and ability to operate successfully in that environment.
  • Field sales experience in big data, cloud, and SaaS sales.
  • Established customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and key decision makers.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex cloud technologies.
  • 3+ years of relevant full-cycle sales experience with a record of exceeding quota.
  • Demonstrated success closing new accounts and increasing consumption in existing customers.
  • Understanding of Apache Spark™ and big data preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience selling to a multi-industry territory in Brazil.
