Description

  • Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives.
  • Close net-new logos and expand existing accounts within the public sector segment.
  • Identify and pursue quick wins while advancing longer, more complex opportunities.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create customer value.
  • Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across the assigned account set.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Build and execute success plans internally and with customer accounts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field sales experience.
  • Federal Financials experience is preferred.
  • Background in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Track record of delivering business value to customers.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company and navigating that environment successfully.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and sell to executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for customer tracking and forecasting.
