Description

  • Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives.
  • Close net new logos and expand existing accounts.
  • Identify and win quick, small deals while advancing longer, complex opportunities.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Sell using a solution-based approach that creates customer value.
  • Promote Databricks as an enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Build success plans internally at Databricks and externally with accounts.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction across assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field sales experience.
  • Federal Civilian experience is preferred.
  • Background in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Track record of delivering business value to customers.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company and navigating that environment successfully.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to work across dedicated consuming accounts in the Public Sector segment.
  • Willingness to manage both short-cycle and long-cycle sales opportunities.

Benefits

  • On-target earnings pay range of $272,000 to $374,000 USD for Zone 2.
