Description

  • Maintain and grow the physician panel by recruiting new physicians based on client demand and business needs.
  • Negotiate physician fees and contract terms within pre-established company guidelines.
  • Update and maintain physician records, including fee changes, W9 and remittance updates, profile instructions, doctor groups, and deactivations/reactivations.
  • Research, source, and onboard new panel physicians, collecting agreements, CVs, applications, W9s, and NPDB reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Operations to finalize physician fees and agreement terms.
  • Lead contract renegotiations for existing physicians, including pricing changes and special initiatives.
  • Handle complex client requests involving niche specialties or urgent network gaps.
  • Support physician reviewers with technical issues or case-specific inquiries.
  • Fulfill high-priority open service requests by recruiting appropriate specialists and providing daily progress updates.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and operations teams on collections, network alignment, and other business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of physician recruitment, medical specialties, and related terminology.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance standards.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet with an uninterrupted connection required for remote work.
  • Occasional lifting, bending, or travel may be required depending on business needs.
