Description

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to define hiring strategy, role scope, sourcing approach, and evaluation design.
  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned roles, from intake through offer.
  • Design high-quality assessments, take-home assignments, and structured exercises that predict post-hire performance.
  • Assess candidates against Code.org’s cultural principles and coach interviewers to do the same.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other creative channels to build diverse pipelines.
  • Conduct screening calls and informational interviews to evaluate skills, motivation, and mission alignment.
  • Facilitate interviews and debriefs with a focus on rigor, equity, and efficiency.
  • Provide data-informed recommendations, market insights, and structured feedback to Hiring Managers.
  • Maintain accurate records and recruiting metrics in Greenhouse and other systems.
  • Partner with People & Culture on offers, onboarding, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in mission-driven or tech-focused organizations.
  • Proven success owning searches end-to-end across a variety of roles and levels.
  • Experience acting as a strategic advisor to Hiring Managers and influencing decisions with data and insights.
  • Experience designing or co-developing effective talent assessments such as take-home assignments, case studies, or structured exercises.
  • A clear methodology for assessing cultural principles and behaviors, with examples of improved hiring outcomes.
  • Ability to operate independently with sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple roles and workflows simultaneously.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with an ATS such as Greenhouse, plus sourcing tools; familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and recruiting automation tools.
  • Comfort using data and metrics to improve hiring outcomes and efficiency.
  • Interest in technology and AI trends.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, work within the continental United States, pass a pre-employment background check, and be willing to travel at least twice per year for team events.

  • Expected salary range of $84,600 to $94,000.
