Description

  • Negotiate physician agreement terms, rates, and contract changes within company guidelines and client fee schedules.
  • Maintain physician records, including fee updates, W9 and remittance changes, profile instructions, doctor groups, and deactivations or reactivations.
  • Research, source, and onboard new physicians and specialty panel options based on client demand and network gaps.
  • Collect and verify required documentation such as agreements, CVs, applications, W9s, and NPDB reports.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Operations to finalize fees and support panel growth efforts.
  • Lead contract renegotiations for existing physicians involving pricing changes, agreements, and special initiatives.
  • Handle complex client requests and high-priority open service requests by recruiting appropriate specialists and providing progress updates.
  • Assist physician reviewers with technical issues and case-specific inquiries.
  • Collaborate with operations, Finance, and Legal to support collections and ensure network alignment with business needs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, compliance requirements, and additional projects assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of physician recruitment, medical specialties, and related terminology.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance standards.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Primarily remote work environment with extended periods of computer work.
  • Must supply and maintain reliable, high-speed internet with an uninterrupted connection.
