Description

  • Maintain the physician panel by updating profiles, fees, doctor groups, and physician status changes.
  • Negotiate physician agreement terms and costs within pre-established guidelines.
  • Onboard new physicians by collecting required documents and completing administrative setup.
  • Work with network leadership to establish agreement fees and provide dictation or Access DS instructions as needed.
  • Research and conduct outreach when additional panel options are needed.
  • Represent the company in person through clinic visits and relationship-building with current and prospective panel physicians.
  • Support scheduling capacity by assisting with scheduling and working with operations.
  • Recruit and manage doctors in regional strategic markets to meet business needs for physician specialties and clinic exam services.
  • Address licensing and certification needs for physicians in applicable cases, including unilateral recording and blocked-day commitments.
  • Source and fulfill urgent open service requests and provide daily updates on sourcing efforts.
  • Procure exam locations as needed and add them to the company database of available resources.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance setting, or equivalent transferable experience.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology.
  • General knowledge of state and federal compliance guidelines.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, critical thinking, organizational, time management, and deadline-management skills.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills required.
  • Ability to manage lifting, bending, traveling, long periods of sitting, and extended computer work as needed.
  • Ability to supply and maintain uninterrupted internet service for work-from-home duties.
  • Legal-related industry expertise preferred.
