Description

  • Provide regular report status updates to clients.
  • Evaluate physician reports for quality, clinical rationale, and compliance with client and jurisdictional standards.
  • Clarify ambiguous report questions and coordinate clarification or addendum requests from clients.
  • Work directly with physicians and office staff to resolve questions, obtain approvals, and support on-time report delivery.
  • Review reports for data accuracy, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ensure reports meet all state requirements, client-specific formatting, and special handling instructions.
  • Distribute final reports to clients according to their requirements.
  • Provide verbal or written feedback and clarification requests to physicians or office staff.
  • Approve cases for release to the client.
  • Support process improvements to increase turnaround time, reduce returned reports, and improve client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform work involving long periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Ability to handle any lifting, bending, or traveling required for the role.
  • Must supply and support own internet service for the work-from-home position.
  • Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for the work-from-home position.
  • Schedule availability for 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm EST.
