Description

  • Draft incoming referrals with demographic information, diagnosis, due date, and specialty in a timely manner.
  • Complete the intake process accurately and close cases according to workflow procedures.
  • Monitor client emails throughout the workday, provide needed information, and escalate messages to the appropriate team member.
  • Upload incoming referrals, records, fee schedules, and related documents into the correct case and ensure notifications are sent.
  • Contact clients by email and phone to obtain needed information and medical records for case handling.
  • Request, retrieve, and upload medical records from client platforms such as iCase.
  • Notify the CSR team when medical records are received.
  • Select and assign incoming referrals and help balance queues across CSR and QA team members.
  • Invoice referrals on the CSR and QA board based on physician fees and client quotes.
  • Audit referrals with upcoming due dates to confirm cases were processed correctly and assist with physician outreach and referral assignments when teammates are on PTO.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Strong computer literacy and typing skills.
  • Ability to perform duties that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, prolonged sitting, and extensive computer work.
  • Must supply and support personal internet service for a work-from-home role.
  • Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for remote work.
