Description

  • Contact authors with outstanding payments via phone, email, and SMS and help them process payments.
  • Assist authors with account verification and royalty withdrawal processes.
  • Listen to authors’ situations and work toward resolution with empathy and clarity.
  • Log payment commitments and schedule follow-ups accurately.
  • Manage a personal caseload of open author accounts in active billing stages.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payment records.
  • Escalate cases when needed and document all interactions clearly.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills are required and non-negotiable.
  • Advanced written and spoken English proficiency is required.
  • CVs submitted in Spanish or any other language will not be considered.
  • Comfortable and confident making phone calls, including difficult conversations.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers and payment records.
  • Empathetic and patient communication style.
  • Self-driven and proactive follow-up habits.
  • Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, customer support, or a similar role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Metorik, WordPress, and ClickUp is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
