Description

Become a hands-on expert in the Brightspace platform and test solutions in practice to find the right fit.
Support the sales process by building expertise in D2L products and services, including functionality, usage, architecture, and deployment.
Prepare and deliver persuasive, tailored product demonstrations for a wide range of audiences and situations.
Build value-oriented presentations in partnership with the sales team.
Conduct needs analysis sessions with prospects to understand their infrastructure, requirements, and potential customizations.
Provide feedback to product management on use cases and field trends.
Create technical documentation and supporting materials for prospects as needed.
Serve as the conduit between internal subject matter experts and sales opportunities.
Attend sales presentations, meetings, and conferences as required.
Review client requirements, identify the optimal product mix, address gaps, and write clear proposal responses.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Brightspace user, either as an administrator or an instructor who has used the platform extensively.
Comfort with other learning management systems and learning platforms that may integrate with an LMS.
Deep interest in education and educational technology, including familiarity with the technology ecosystem and LMS.
Very comfortable presenting complex education and technology concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
Highly engaging in person and virtually.
Excellent writing and comprehension skills.
Ability to work remotely in a professional manner.
Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel 25–50% and work various hours across North America from PST to EST.
Experience with teaching and learning contexts and speaking with stakeholders from students to executives (preferred).

Base salary range of $65,000–$80,000 CAD.
