Description

  • Partner with Solutions Engineers as the technical expert and escalation point for sales opportunities.
  • Scope complex technical requirements and write responses for sales pursuits.
  • Present technical solutions to help win business opportunities.
  • Engage prospective and current customers to understand business goals, technical challenges, and integration needs.
  • Design, document, and present solutions for integrations, security, data exchange, and implementation.
  • Assess and mitigate risks that could block technical wins or successful delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between implementation teams and sales teams to transfer technical knowledge for smooth implementation.
  • Contribute to technical enablement materials and reusable assets for internal teams.
  • Work with implementation, sales, and product management teams to fill information gaps and support technical communication.

Requirements

  • Experience in education technology, especially with LMS administration or integration.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Brightspace.
  • Experience in a technical sales, consulting, or similar client-facing role.
  • Acumen with artificial intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with the enterprise software sales process; sales support experience is an asset.
  • Understanding of LMS-related systems and integrations, including SIS, HRIS, AMS, CRM, SAML/SSO, LDAP, JIT provisioning, LTI, API, IPaaS, flat file transfer, relational databases, BI tools, and EDW.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convince and persuade.
  • Experience interpreting RFPs, gathering client requirements, or writing SOWs is an asset.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative problem solver with the ability to work across sales, services, and other internal teams.
  • Leadership, initiative, and execution skills with the ability to identify gaps and drive solutions.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work remotely with a distributed team and travel occasionally.
  • Background in teaching and learning industries such as higher education, K-12, or corporate learning is an asset.

  • Base salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 USD.
