Description

  • Partner with Sales to identify business opportunities aligned with Buildkite’s platform.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand CI/CD architectures and workflows and identify improvements.
  • Design and deliver engaging product demonstrations.
  • Lead technical proofs-of-concept to help secure the technical win.
  • Advise customers on migrating from existing solutions to Buildkite’s platform.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and Product Engineering and share feedback to shape the product and platform.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in CI/CD and software delivery.
  • Use storytelling to communicate value and guide customers through solution validation.
  • Educate the Sales team to strengthen product knowledge and market positioning.
  • Represent Buildkite at industry events and conferences to build awareness and engage with developer and operations communities.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS CodePipelines, Azure Pipelines, or GitLab.
  • Experience with DevOps technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Ability to communicate and present clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a customer-facing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design tailored solutions.
  • Curious, consultative approach with confidence to identify key priorities.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, and Solutions teams.
  • Familiarity with emerging build technologies such as Bazel or iOS development tools is a plus.
