Description

Partner with Sales to identify platform-aligned business opportunities and help close deals.
Assess customers’ CI/CD architectures and workflows to identify efficiency and delivery improvements.
Design and deliver technical demonstrations and solution narratives for prospective and existing customers.
Lead technical proofs of concept to secure technical validation.
Advise customers on migrating from existing tools to Buildkite, including its dynamic pipeline approach.
Serve as the technical liaison between customers and Product Engineering, sharing product feedback and requirements.
Educate Sales teams on product capabilities and market positioning.
Represent Buildkite at industry events and engage with developer and operations communities.
Stay current on CI/CD and software-delivery technologies, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS CodePipeline, Azure Pipelines, or GitLab.
Experience with DevOps technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Interest in learning build technologies such as Bazel, Kubernetes, and iOS development tools.
Ability to clearly communicate and present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to identify customer needs and design tailored technical solutions.
Consultative, curious approach with sound judgment and confidence in prioritizing key issues.
Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams.

Benefits

Base salary of $180,000–$205,000 USD plus 20% sales commission at target; compensation varies by location, experience, and qualifications.
Fully remote work setup, with the option to work from anywhere globally for up to 6 weeks per year.
20 days of paid annual leave plus 10 days of sick and carer’s leave.
