Description

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting calls to businesses that ship internationally.
  • Qualify leads by speaking with decision-makers about shipping volumes, carrier arrangements, and platform fit.
  • Verify prospective accounts in the internal database before outreach to confirm territory availability and compliance.
  • Introduce qualified prospects to the platform, provide access credentials, and explain the onboarding next steps.
  • Follow up with prospects in a structured way to nurture interest, answer questions, and convert leads into active customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, pipeline changes, and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with company directors to ensure a smooth handoff once accounts become active shippers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, cold calling, outbound prospecting, or lead generation.
  • Prior sales experience in shipping, logistics, courier, or freight forwarding is highly preferred.
  • Strong phone presence with excellent active listening and the confidence to engage gatekeepers and executive decision-makers.
  • Highly organized self-starter who can manage follow-up workflows independently.
  • Comfortable using internal sales portals and digital platforms as part of the daily workflow.
  • Experience using consultative sales methods to uncover client pain points is a nice to have.
  • Experience managing the early-stage sales cycle, including warm follow-ups, is a nice to have.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, VoIP platforms, and outbound dialing tools is a nice to have.

Benefits

  • Salary of 23,000 ZAR per month, with the final amount determined by the client based on skills and experience.

  • Full-time schedule aligned to UK business hours (9:00am–5:00pm UK time).
