Description

  • Develop and implement the engineering technology strategy aligned with Cyara’s business goals.
  • Oversee the full engineering lifecycle, including development, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
  • Lead, recruit, develop, and retain high-performing, multi-discipline engineering teams.
  • Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, quality, and operational excellence within engineering.
  • Own the shift from AI-assisted to AI-native development practices, including frameworks and tooling standards.
  • Collaborate with product management, technical operations, customer success, and sales to define roadmaps and deliver products on time and on budget.
  • Manage engineering budgets, resource forecasting, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead platform innovation for AI, including scalable LLM capabilities, data pipelines, vector databases, RAG, and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Establish responsible AI governance, model monitoring, bias mitigation, and data privacy/security practices.
  • Track engineering and AI performance metrics and communicate progress to senior leadership, investors, and the board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • 15+ years of engineering leadership experience in large, complex SaaS or cloud-native organizations.
  • Proven success building and scaling high-performing global engineering teams of 50+ engineers.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, DevOps, cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience delivering SaaS platforms at scale with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and multi-tenant systems.
  • Hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling machine learning or generative AI systems into production.
  • Knowledge of model training, inference pipelines, MLOps, vector retrieval, embeddings, NLP, and generative AI concepts.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technology strategy with business outcomes and measurable ROI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience with private equity-backed or rapid-growth companies, CX technology, GenAI/LLMs, RAG, vector databases, LangChain/LangSmith, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, remote/global teams, and transformation leadership.
