Description

  • Build and manage a pipeline using self-sourced leads and SDR-supported leads to generate new customer acquisition.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through demo and close.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer challenges and goals and align Customer.io’s solutions to those needs.
  • Work with the SDR team to provide feedback on lead quality and collaborate with Customer Success and Technical Support on post-sale handoff.
  • Track, report, and manage individual sales metrics, pipeline status, and progress toward targets.
  • Engage in high-volume prospecting, including cold and warm outreach.
  • Manage mid-market deals, typically under $50,000 ACV, with shorter sales cycles.
  • Develop relationships with mid-sized clients and uncover business needs to drive growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle B2B SaaS or MarTech sales, handling mid-market accounts.
  • Candidates must be located in the UK, Ireland, Canada, the USA, or the Americas region to be considered.
  • Proven success in new customer acquisition and closing deals in B2B SaaS, preferably MarTech.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar consultative sales and discovery framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, engaging presence.
  • Strong problem-solving ability to identify customer needs and position relevant solutions.
  • Experience working with mid-market accounts and lower-ACV, shorter-cycle deals.
  • Ability to support a balance of inbound and self-sourced opportunities.
  • Background check and employment verification are required for final candidates.

  • $95,000 base salary plus $95,000 variable compensation for a $190,000 OTE USD, subject to market rate adjustment.
